Not that I know of. I doubt it. Every time we meet, I ask him if I can make a video, but he declines every time. Does not allow anyone to enter his bus. He got fed up with all those people in his private space (he lives in it), and since no one gets in.

Ik ben op zulke mooie plekken geweest.. Een eerdere versie van deze video had veel meer 'Oostenrijk-gezichten', maar toen kreeg ik het commentaar van 'beta-testers' dat die video te veel op twee gedachtes hinkte, dus toen ik heb het meeste 'Oostenrijk' er uit gesneden. Mogelijk maak ik nog een video met uitsluitend die beelden.

Thank you. This was in the month October that I was in Austria, but yes, even for October it was exceptional warm. There were days it was 25 degrees.

I glued them with alu-strips onto the roof. They lay each on three rectangular strips, and are bolted onto L-shaped strips at the short side. I fitted four extra mounts to hold them on the long side too. I got me some expert-advice on the glue, and used everything they told me to; sand paper, professional cleaner, primer, glue, and another, extra glue to protect the glue from UV-radiation. I was scared to use only glue, but as I saw how strong this stuff is... I am truly confident now that they won't get blown off. The glue is some special glue that is used in the automotive industry..

To be honest... in spite of being away with it earlier, only this time I got a good impression of how it really is. There are just plenty of places you can go to, and most roads are made for 12 meter vehicles. Restrictions on weight, height or length are rare. That doesn't go for campsites, those often have a limit of about 8 meters... It helped that I traveled in October, it is really quiet by then.

Good question. I already said in an earlier video, that i would go for a composting toilet next time, that saves water and the space of the black water tank. In my bus it made sense to do grey and black separate, because there was not enough space for one big tank. But otherwise there is no need for two separate tanks, yes. Dumping whenever you can is a good idea anyhow, because particles in black water tanks tend to flow slowly down, and might clog the outlet pipe. Once we did over a month with our tank, and it happened to us.. you don't want to, I can tell you.. 😁

It depends how many seats you leave standing. Up to 9 = C, 10 or more = D. Buses longer than 12 meters can never be driven with C, though. This bus is little over 10 meters and has less seats, so must be driven with C.

Ich habe so nebenbei meine Arbeit fünf Jahre daran gearbeitet. Aber es hängt viel davon ab wie viel Zeit du hast für das was du alles selbst machst, und was du anderen überlassen kannst, das heißt, Bekannte oder Profis. Und auch wie detailliert du es haben willst, oder wie schnell. Ich weiß das es in sechs Monate möglich ist, wenn du Vollzeit daran arbeiten kannst, und nicht so genau schaust. Wenn du mehr wissen willst, schaue dich um bei www.wohnbusse.eu . Dort gibt es viel Erfahrung mit umbau.

Met 'dit te doen' neem ik aan dat je bedoelt er in wonen? Want voor alle duidelijkheid: ik woon NIET in een bus, maar in een gewoon rijtjeshuis ergens in Amstelveen.. 😏 Nee, ik kan het niet aanraden, maar dat komt omdat ik mezelf niet als de aangewezen persoon zie om jou dat al dan niet aan te raden. Het is namelijk een zeer persoonlijke keuze. Ik zou zelf niet in een bus willen wonen, maar vriend Johan ( hier op UA-cam @hanverdihuskyrv ) woont er wel in en ik ken genoeg van zulke mensen... Het is een erg fundamentele keuze; ben je bereid om de bijzonderheden van zo'n levensstijl te dragen, en past dat wel bij jou (als je nog jong bent, is het maar de vraag of je dat al weet 😊). Je hebt met hele andere mogelijkheden en onmogelijkheden en risico's te maken dan bij het wonen in een huis. Zoals met alles is het een idee om klein te beginnen..(?) Ik ben ooit iemand tegengekomen die sliep in een Toyota Aygo (was ook de kleinste camper die ik ooit heb gezien), en in Johan's kanaal vind je het verhaal van een Deen die al jaren woont in een auto, een Volkswagen Sharan (beetje maf moet je wel zijn, dan 😁). Succes met je avonturen. Wat je ook doet!

Before I left for Austria, where I was the whole month of October, I mounted solar panels (900 Wp in total), made a desk to work at (with computer) and invested in Starlink. I'm thinking about making a video about that trip. It was great! I still feel small compared to the skills and expertise of Jürgen. 😊

@@mypride8780 Yeah... don't hold your breath.. 😐 changed circumstances make it less motivating to make videos. Nowadays far less than one per cent of all my subscribers clicks my new videos. That makes me wonder why bother? So only if the storyteller in me likes to have fun, there is a new video (like this one).

​​@@Onrust1without causing offence, have you wondered why this is, or asked your viewers? As someone who has watched and liked all your videos this is an easy answer. We subscribed to your channel too see your amazing bus, to see how you built it, to see how you use it, to see your upgrades and opinions, to see what changes you would like to make, because we all would like to think about our own bus whether we have one now or to think about a future bus. Unfortunately, your recent videos hardly feature your bus, they are mainly your woodworking skills (which is amazing but not bus related) or feature your bus very little e.g the bus swap challenge whoch was a bit bizzare as it was not on actual roads so we could imagine how it would be really like driving rather than a field in the middle of nowhere. It is clear to see from the view count of your videos, any videos that features your bus for a significant duration have atleast over 100 times the number of views in comparison to your other videos which do no feature your bus. I watch and like all of your videos to encourage you too keep making videos, but me and most people just want to see your bus, I am still looking forward to you addressing my previous video idea regarding how you designed the bus in terms of how to hide your plumbing and wiring etc, design choices for building etc.. I believe there is a huge demand for your videos, but mainly focused on your bus. Viewers will return if videos reflect what made the channel popular, which is your amazing bus! Apologies in advance if this is not what you wanted to hear, or perhaps you did not realise this. But I am sure if you ask your viewers the majority would love more bus videos!!! Have a great evening.
